This website
Pages are written in semantic HTML, with skip-to-content, visible focus, text alternatives on photographs, and colour contrast aimed at WCAG 2.2 AA. Text can be resized. We test on a phone-sized screen as well as a desktop. If a page fails you, email contact@gormandalech.org with the page and what happened.
The hall
We are a small rural facility still improving access as funds allow. If you need a particular arrangement — a quiet time, a seat near the door, printed material in large type, help with steps or transport — phone (03) 5197 7264 before you come and we will do what the building and the staff can do that day.
Programs
Digital skills sessions assume no prior expertise. Devices can be shared. If a format does not work for you (video without captions, a class that is only on a laptop, a garden bed you cannot reach), say so. Adapting the session is part of the work.
