Digital inclusion and devices
Funding that puts working computers, reliable internet and licensed software in front of people who do not have them at home — and keeps the House lab from depending on a single ageing machine.

Grants & partners
Not for a plaque in the foyer. For devices, software, hosting, food relief and a hall that works — and for the people who use them.
Gormandale Community House is the size the ACNC calls small. That is not an aesthetic choice. It means we cannot buy a computer lab, a video suite or a fundraising platform at list price. It also means every in-kind deal has to earn its keep: if a licence does not reach a participant or take a load off the coordinator, we will not spend a month applying for it.
We actively explore digital grants, government and philanthropic rounds, and the nonprofit programs run by technology companies. Some will land this year. Some will not. This page is honest about the ones we are pursuing so partners know where to find us, and so locals know we are not waiting for the world to arrive.
Funding that puts working computers, reliable internet and licensed software in front of people who do not have them at home — and keeps the House lab from depending on a single ageing machine.
Programs that connect digital training to real income: short courses, mentoring, and support for people selling services or creative work from Gippsland rather than leaving town to find it.
The unglamorous grants that improve kitchens, access, heating, the garden and workshop — because a digital classroom still needs a roof that does not leak.
Support that keeps Community Lunch, Pay It Forward and emergency food on the calendar when donations dip and costs do not.
Software, hosting, advertising credits and professional services offered to registered charities. We assess each deal for what it does for participants, not for how it looks in a newsletter.
Nonprofit programs we are pursuing
These organisations run established programs for registered charities. We are not claiming current sponsorship. We are applying, assessing and — where a deal is useful for our beneficiaries or for running the House — we will say so here.
Pursuing
Donation infrastructure and nonprofit deals that would let supporters give cleanly, and give the House access to software and services at charity rates.
Pursuing
Design tools our digital arts, social media and program flyers can actually run on — and that participants can learn on, then take home.
Pursuing
Industry-standard image, video and publishing tools for the editing and digital arts pathway, so rural learners are not practising on toys.
Pursuing
Voice and audio tools that help with accessibility, narration for training videos, and content our participants can publish.
Pursuing
Productivity, cloud and device programs that lift the House itself — email, files, security — and that we can teach from.
We can talk about devices, connectivity, training licences, accessible content tools, and the unfashionable costs of keeping a kitchen and a hall open while we teach. We report to the ACNC. We will not inflate numbers to win a round.
Talk to the HouseWrite to contact@gormandalech.org with what you offer registered Australian charities, what it costs us in time, and who among our participants it would reach. Goodstack, Canva, Adobe, ElevenLabs and Microsoft programs are already on our list; we are open to others that pass the same test.
